Michel De Vos is a senior medical director at Brussels IVF, the Centre for Reproductive Medicine at Universitair Ziekenhuis Brussel, Belgium and an associate professor in at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
He studied medicine in Ghent, Belgium (MD 1997), has been a gynaecologist since 2006 and holds a PhD in medicine from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom (2007). In 2011, he was certified as a subspecialist in reproductive medicine and surgery by ESHRE and the European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG). His main research focus is on fertility treatment in women with polycystic ovary syndrome and on fertility preservation. He is the current Chair of the In Vitro Maturation Special Interest Group of the ASRM.
He is a member of the Female Oncofertility Scientific Committee of The Oncofertility Consortium of Michigan State University and a founding member of the Belgian division of the International Reproductive Health Education Collaboration (IRHEC).
Dr De Vos is an associate editor of Human Reproduction. He has authored more than 180 scientific publications (Web of Science).
