After obtaining his MD from the Faculty of Medicine in Tunis, Prof Feki joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG). He obtained the MD and PhD from the University of Geneva. At the HUG he obtained his specialty in gynecology and obstetrics, as well as the sub-specialties in gynecological surgery and in reproductive medicine and gynecological endocrinology. Prof Feki heads the Stem Cell Laboratory and derived the first human embryonic stem cell line and the first induced pluripotent stem cells by nuclear reprogramming in Switzerland. Prof. Feki is head of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics and medical director at the Hôpital Fribourgeois. He has been teaching at the University of Medicine in Fribourg since 2013, and at the University of Geneva since 2006. He is was member of the executive committees of the European Society of Reproductive Medicine (ESHRE) between 2011 and 2015 and the European Board and College of Gynecology and Obstetrics (EBCOG) between 2015 and 2022. He chaired the certification committee programs of ESHRE until 2023. He was elected as an associate member of the French Academy of Surgery in 2021 and as ESHRE chair Elect in June 2023. He has published more than 200 scientific articles in prestigious journals, making him a recognized specialist at both national and international level.
