Pauliina Damdimopoulou is Currently serving as a Research Coordinator at Reproductive Medicine Karolinska, Karolinska University Hospital. She also holds the position of Senior Lecturer (also known as Assc Prof) in Perinatal and Reproductive Toxicology (Tenure Track) at the Department of Clinical Science, Intervention and Technology, Karolinska Institutet (KI) and is an Independent Research Group Leader, Department of Clinical Science, Intervention and Technology, KI.
Her journey into academia began as a PhD student at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Turku, Turku, Finland, followed by postdoctoral research positions both in France at WatchFrog, Paris, and Sweden at Karolinska Institutet, Department of Biosciences and Nutrition & Department of Clinical Science, Intervention and Technology. Then, she was a Junior Group Leader, Swedish Toxicology Sciences Research Center, Swetox and a Senior Researcher, Department of Clinical Science, Intervention and Technology, KI.
