Aisling Ahlström, is currently the Scientific director of Livio AB. She is from Australia, where she did her undergraduate studies and worked in the field of reproductive immunology. She has worked for more than 20 years in Sweden as an embryologist, under which time she completed her phD. Her main research interests include investigation of non-invasive methods to improve IVF outcomes, prediction of embryo viability and assessment of selections models, including time-lapse. Aisling is currently a member of ESHREs Executive Committee. She also hold two advisory positions to the European Commission, as part of a working subgroup of the Medical Device Coordination Group, and appointed as an expert panel member for medical devices in the field of Obstetrics and gynaecology and reproductive medicine.
