Kirsten Tryde Macklon graduated in M.D., Copenhagen University, Faculty of Health, January 1992 and Ph.D., Copenhagen University, Faculty of Health, 2005.
Her professional experience for the last 5 years is Consultant at the Fertility Clinic, University Hospital of Copenhagen, Rigshospitalet (March 2019-present), Consultant, Stork Klinik/Vivaneo, Copenhagen (March 2018 – February 2019) and Consultant at the Fertility Clinic, University Hospital of Copenhagen, Rigshospitalet (2012 – February 2018).
She has 75 publications in peer-reviewed journals, is the author of 6 book chapters and has been the co-supervisor for 8 Ph.D. students and Master theses.
She has given > 70 lectures at international meetings and conferences, has been on the scientific board of 10 national and international meetings and has served s chairman at several international meetings, including ESHRE annual meetings.
She was elected national representative for Denmark and served for 4 years. In 2016 she founded the SIG in fertility preservation and since 2019 she has served as co-ordinator. From 2019-2021 she has been medical advisor for the NmCC group. Since June 2021 she is member of the executive committee of ESHRE. She has been on the board of the NFS (Nordic Fertility Society) as elected national representative since 2019 and as chairman of the NFS meeting in 2016.
