Adding perspectives in health care has been a working method implemented in our department for decades. We are in favour of teamwork since multidisciplinary teams are essential for the success of all diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. For this reason, we believe in the importance of second medical opinions and the referral of patients from one professional to another when dealing with certain pathologies that require specific treatments. Collaboration between professionals and advice from a specialized team, such as Dexeus Mujer, allows us to offer the best service and achieve the best results.

The Dexeus Mujer Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproduction has different medical committees that meet regularly. They are interdisciplinary and consist of our best specialists in each area or service. The committees analyse their own cases and those submitted for analysis by professionals outside the department.

In addition to resolving cases, the Committees approve the department’s healthcare protocols. It is the appropriate forum to connect the healthcare aspect with science and teaching, which reverts unquestionably to the benefit of each of our patients.
