In light of the opening of the MIR 2025 placement selection process, the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproduction at Dexeus Mujer – Hospital Universitari Dexeus announces the availability of 3 places for the specialty of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
Our hospital, accredited as a university since 1983, offers a highly specialized multidisciplinary care environment. The residency program provides comprehensive and progressive training, including structured rotations through all key areas: obstetrics, gynecological surgery, reproductive medicine, gynecological oncology, and fetal medicine, among others.
This is a consolidated training itinerary, oriented towards clinical and academic excellence, with significant hands-on involvement from the early years, and designed to provide future specialists with specific and up-to-date knowledge of the treatment and care of women’s health.
As part of the continuous improvement of our training methodologies, in recent years clinical simulation has been incorporated as a strategic training tool. An outstanding example is the Simulation Workshop for Initiation to Obstetrics and Gynecology aimed at first-year residents, whose next edition will be held in September 2025, and will be open to residents both from our center and from teaching units of other hospitals.
