On 26 May, the Women and Thrombosis Conference, co-organised by the Hospital Universitari Dexeus and Dexeus Mujer, was held in the auditorium of Dexeus Mujer.

The meeting was supported by the Spanish Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (SETH), and its aim was to update information and share experiences of clinical practice in the assessment of thrombotic risk, prevention and treatment of patients with diverse casuistry. The event could also be followed online via webinar.

This event was coordinated by Dr. Manel Casellas Caro, Senior Consultant of the Obstetrics Service in the Hospital Universitari Dexeus, and Dr. Pilar Llamas Sillero, Head of the Corporate Service of Haematology and Haemotherapy in the Hospital Universitario Fundación Jiménez Díaz and Hospitales Públicos Quirónsalud Madrid and Vice-President of the Spanish Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (SETH). The meeting was attended by Dr. Bernat Serra, Senior Consultant of the Obstetrics Service of Dexeus Mujer, who presented a paper on antithrombotic prophylaxis in pregnant women with Covid-19.
