Dr Bernat Serra, senior consultant of the Obstetrics Service, and Dr Pilar Prats, Director of R&D&I of Clinical Obstetrics from the Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproduction of the Dexeus University Hospital have participated in the World Congress of Perinatal Medicine held in Milan this month, from 7 to 10 May.
Dr Prats presented an oral communication on the strategy for aneuploidy screening in patients with a previous pre-implantation diagnosis and Dr. Bernat Serra coordinated a session on foetal lung maturation and gave a lecture on the management of premature rupture of membranes in the late preterm period.
The event was attended by more than 2,500 experts from over 100 countries around the world. It is organised by the World Association of Perinatal Medicine (WAPM) in coordination with the Perinatal Medicine Foundation (PMF), in collaboration with the Italian Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (SIEOG).
