BY TRAIN: Barcelona is also an important railway link, connected favorably with the rest of Spain and with Europe which constitutes an advantageous link in the intermodal transport chain with regard to obtaining the greatest efficiency at a low cost.



Barcelona travel cards

There are different types of travel cards that are valid throughout the public transport network (metro, buses, tram, and suburban rail), including a T-Casual (11,35€ card which is valid for 10 journeys). A single ticket is valid for a period of 1 hour and 15 minutes and with such a ticket, you can change from the metro to tram to the bus, etc.



Aerobus

Aerobus is the official shuttle bus service that connects Barcelona Airport (terminal 1 and 2) with the city center (Plaça Catalunya) in 35 minutes.
The bus runs every day of the year with departures every 5 minutes.

Regular bus

Barcelona has over 100 bus routes connecting all districts in the city.

– From Plaza España to AXA Auditorium: V7 or V9 bus line
– From Plaza Cataluña to AXA Auditorium: 59 or 63 bus line

You can pay cash or use an integrated card of transportation from TMB, which allows travel in more than one mode of transportation, such as bus and subway, or train and bus, in a specific period.

Metro

Next to Plaza España and Plaza Cataluña, there is the metro station, green line (L3) that leads directly to the Auditorio AXA by Les Corts station. After, it takes 10 minutes on foot.

Taxi

Taxis from Barcelona Airport offer their services 24 hours, waiting for passengers at the taxi ranks located in both terminals. A journey from the airport to the city center usually takes between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on several factors: a ride from terminal T1 will be longer than from T2, the final destination, the traffic conditions, and the speed limits in force on the outskirts of Barcelona.
